PicVanta Privacy Policy
PicVanta is an offline-first photo editor and background-removal app. This policy explains how PicVanta 1.7.0 handles information.
Photos and local app data
You choose which photos PicVanta may open. Photo editing and background removal run on your device; selected photos are not uploaded for image processing. Project history, profile and Home cover pictures, preferences, reward-pass expiry times, subscription status cache, and temporary render files are stored locally on your device.
PicVanta does not require an account. Zorvixa Studio does not sell your photos or personal information.
Optional rewarded advertising
Free users may choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock an export or another clearly identified feature for 15 minutes. Ads are not shown without the user's choice. Active PicVanta Pro subscribers are not served rewarded ads.
PicVanta uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's consent tools. Depending on region, device settings, consent choices, and ad availability, Google and its advertising partners may collect or receive:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- device and advertising identifiers;
- app interactions such as ad views, taps, and rewarded-ad completion;
- diagnostic, performance, and fraud-prevention information.
This information may be used to provide and measure ads, prevent invalid traffic and abuse, perform analytics, and comply with legal obligations. Where required, PicVanta asks for advertising consent before requesting an ad and provides an in-app entry point to review available ad privacy choices. Read Google's Privacy Policy.
PicVanta Pro and Google Play Billing
PicVanta offers an optional auto-renewing monthly Pro subscription through Google Play. Google Play processes payment details. PicVanta does not receive or store your full card or bank-account number.
To start, restore, and maintain Pro access, Google Play Billing provides the app with information such as the product identifier, purchase state, transaction or purchase token, and verification data. PicVanta keeps a local entitlement cache so an already-confirmed subscriber does not see ads during a temporary connection problem.
Optional HTTPS downloads and website hosting
PicVanta may check for approved content-catalog updates. When you choose a background, sticker, font, or daily challenge, PicVanta may download it from https://picvanta.web.app/assets.
These requests do not upload gallery photos. Firebase Hosting and its infrastructure may receive normal technical request data, including IP address, request time, user-agent or app version, requested file, and security logs. This data is used for content delivery, security, and diagnostics.
Permissions
- Photo-library or picker access is used after you choose to open a photo.
- Camera access is used after you choose to take a photo.
- Internet access supports rewarded ads, consent, Google Play Billing, subscription management, and optional HTTPS downloads.
- On Android 7 through Android 10, legacy write-storage permission may be requested only when saving an export to the gallery.
PicVanta does not request contacts, microphone, SMS, phone-call, precise-location, or background-location permission.
Retention, deletion, and choices
- Saved projects remain in private app storage until deleted or Clear Project History is used.
- Temporary render files can be removed with Clear Cache.
- Profile and Home cover pictures can be replaced or removed in Profile.
- Exported images remain in the gallery until you delete them there.
- Reward-pass and preference data are removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled, subject to Android behavior.
- Subscription records and ad-service data are controlled through Google Play, Google privacy controls, and the in-app ad privacy entry point when available.
Because PicVanta has no account system, Zorvixa Studio does not maintain a cloud photo library or user profile to delete. Contact us for privacy help.
Security
Supported network requests use encrypted HTTPS. Android cleartext traffic and app backup are disabled. No storage or transmission system is perfectly secure, so keep PicVanta and your device operating system updated.
Children
PicVanta is a general creative tool and is not directed to children under 13. Zorvixa Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when PicVanta's features, laws, or service providers change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are published.
